Just two months after his deal with Etisalat expired, YBNL head-honcho signs an ambassadorial deal with Telecoms giant – Glo alongside Timaya.
Olamide & Timaya are joined by Ghanaian actors – Juliet Ibrahim & Joselyn Dumas as the new entrants. They all join the likes of Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Di’ja, Basketmouth and M.I as Glo ambassadors
Timaya is the only new act to join GLO in its latest reshuffle where pop stars like Wizkid, P-Square, Wande Coal, Burna Boy and Sammie Okposo were dropped.
Explaining why Timaya has been made an ambassador, GLO in a statement says, ‘Timaya was made a Glo ambassador because of his success in the music industry and for being an inspiration to millions of Nigerian youths, especially in the South-South part of the country where he is popularly known as the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa.‘
Globacom’s head office in Lagos said Olamide was signed on as an ambassador because of his creativity and diligence, which have earned him an enviable status in the music industry. The company said both Olamide and Timaya have become sources of inspiration to millions of Nigerian youths.
Congratulations to the both of them.
